Advantage 1: Not easy to breed bacteria

The shell of the common ordinary capsule is basically composed of gelatin, glycerin and water (so it is also called gelatin capsule, the same below). Gelatin is generally made by hydrolyzing the collagen in animal skin, tendons, and bones, and is a protein substance. In other words, ordinary capsules use animal protein as the main raw material. The problem is that animal protein has always maintained an "intimate relationship" with bacteria, and it is easy to breed bacteria. If it is not handled properly, the number of bacteria will exceed the standard.

This is not the case for Empty HPMC Capsule. Because its main raw material is plant cellulose. This is a natural polymer, which has always been "incommunicable" with bacteria. Not only is it difficult to breed bacteria, but it also inhibits the growth of bacteria.

Advantage 2: No preservatives

As mentioned above, gelatin capsules tend to breed bacteria. Therefore, in the production process, in order to prevent the growth of bacteria and microorganisms, manufacturers usually add preservatives. After the production of the gelatin capsule is completed, it must be sterilized according to regulations. But the current disinfection methods for gelatin capsules are almost always with a gas called ethylene oxide (ethylene oxide is a toxic carcinogen). After such sterilization, if you are not careful, this gas may remain in the capsule shell.

The Empty HPMC Capsule, because it is not easy to breed bacteria, does not need to be sterilized with ethylene oxide, and does not need to add any preservatives. Therefore, they are both green and healthy.
